Having some fun sketching digitally. Kinda fun, especially since I can move around the room freely and get the right angle that I like with a little digital pad.
Hi Glenn, how satisfying! Did you sketch these from a live model? They make me think of Gustav Klimt's pencil sketches, some of which I like even more than his paintings...
Yes, live models. I joined a painting group when I was in LA this past weekend, and the models were great. Two models. One long pose, and the other short 10-20 minute poses. I drew these on the ipad, which was really fun, and also allowed me to move around to get the best angles.
Hi Gill. Yes, ipad, and SketchBook Pro. And finger and stylus. I guess I kinda switched back and fourth. The best stylus that I just found is made by 3M. Absolutely no skipping! Even on my ipad that has a screen protector on it!
