These are the sketches from the "When the Sky Fell" Sci Fi book cover that was done in 2008. I felt like an illustrator again going back to my roots. I first did a series of sketches like this to designs the space ships, then did a few black and white sketches of the cover composition, and once we were happy with it, I did the final painting. Anyways, it was a fun process, and I hope to do more.
